Hey, I am Vita and this is my passion project “Product Heart”. I created this page to process my own learnings, to share my knowledge and to help you! I am a passionate Product Manager from Cologne, Germany and currently work in E-Commerce for a premium fashion shop.
Do all things with passion – I have taken this mantra to heart since I was 16 years old. At this time I started my first blog and thus my product journey. Creating a user-friendly page with valuable content was key to my decisions. Most things I know today I learned myself, staying up until late, just to be able to change a part of my blog. I learned to code, copy write and analyse data to understand what my visitors want to read. In school I loved mathematics and computer science, while at home I loved to take pictures, write and design my blog.
Finally I followed my passion to be creative and studied B.A Intermedia with focus on media art. What at first seems to have no connection has turned out to be a common theme in retrospect. Because both customers of a product and viewers of an artwork have one thing in common: You can’t influence how they handle and understand your intents.
Fast forward: With my knowledge from blogging and studying I transitioned from creating artworks to creating products. Turns out Product Manager was the job I actually wanted to go for all the time.
In my free time I do lots of yoga to keep me sane. I use the resources from yoga (meditation, breath work, moving) to cultivate a growth mindset and keep up with my work-life-balance.
